What a great San Francisco experience! Noe Nest is in a great neighborhood between Mission Noe Valley and Dolores Park. Cute bar with a retro vibe Lon Palm is just down the street. The Inn’s awesome hostess Shelia is a total sweetheart & makes a BEAUTIFUL breakfast and ofcourse there’s the LOVELY garden. What a great experience!!! LOVE THIS PLACE
This was my first stay in San Francisco and Noe’s Nest is THE place to stay. From arrival, with the warm welcome from the most friendly and accommodating hostess and owner, Sheila Ash, the stay was amazing. Sheila’s style, gracious hospitality, friendly staff, unique rooms, and beautiful breakfasts make this place absolutely wonderful. It is very quiet in the multi story home and is so relaxing and inviting. So much to enjoy right there. The neighborhood location is very convenient for getting around San Francisco. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast to enjoy and feel a part of the community. I will never stay anywhere else when in San Francisco.
If you have never stayed at Noe's Nest, you are missing the boat! Wonderful experience to be a guest of Sheila's at her mesmerizing BnB, with walls covered superbly with beautiful art creations of her own and others. As my sister said, it's not just a roof over your head, it's an experience - eclectic collections greet you in every room, each of which has its own story which Sheila enthusiastically relates to you. Each morning you are warmly greeted with a well crafted breakfast. Sheila's a gracious, engaging host giving each and every guest a memorable experience. Thank you Sheila! We will definitely be back!
This place is a gem! The decor is as eclectic and interesting as Sheila, the owner. The staff is helpful and friendly. An enchanting garden in the back is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy some wine. The breakfast is amazing—especially the frittata and French toast. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone.
This is my third time staying at Noe’s Nest. It’s a wonderful respite at the end of a busy day. Sheila offers an incredible breakfast spread and the garden is a cozy spot to enjoy a glass of wine. The rooms are just like the photos- beautiful and comfortable.
Thank you again! I will be back.
Over the top fun in great location A friend and I enjoyed a "girl's getaway" in San Francisco last week and really enjoyed Noe's Nest. When I first walked into the museum-like front parlor, I wasn't quite sure what to think, but as Shelia, the proprietress, showed us around, it all made sense. Her life is a rich tapestry and her house reflects that. It was like staying with one of my favorite characters, Auntie Mame. Sheila is eccentric, classy, warm, welcoming and laid back; her house is your house. We were in the suite, which gave us plenty of room, plus nice windows for fresh air and a view of the neighborhood. It is a climb up to the 3rd floor, but it was great exercise! There is a well-equipped kitchenette up there, too, shared with The View room. Breakfast is a nice, casual affair with frittata, bread from a local bakery, spreads, salmon, fruit, etc. You can eat in the breakfast room, dining room, or take your food out to the garden or to your room. Sheila is more than accommodating, and arranged parking for my small car and also helped when my friend "lost" her phone. We discovered it missing while at the deYoung Museum, called Sheila (who was out and about) and she actually went back to the house to look for it and found it in our room. Now THAT is good customer service. The neighborhood is one of the loveliest in San Francisco, quite walkable (with a few steep hills) and with many great shops and restaurants. The architecture, views and culture in San Francisco are fantastic anytime, but we lucked out and had crystal clear weather. We are already talking about returning later this spring.

Absolutely loved staying here. Sheila is the ultimate host, along with a perfect breakfast waiting downstairs for you, in the morning. The balcony outside the Sheila Chapeau room adds a noticeable, romantic touch for viewing the city lights, conjuring dreams, even as a solo traveler. You can’t help but fall in love with how Sheila so elegantly decorates the front window with each season’s holiday celebrations, along with her meticulously decorated, antique-vintage inspired rooms.
